The primary area of work is to prove employment in rural areas and improve the productivity of the agricultural sector. The importance of rural development includes growth in agriculture, the set up of economic and social infrastructure, good wages as well as household and housing for the homeless, village planning, public health, functional literacy and education, and communication. Also, we successfully completed the women's education, health & sanitation projects in rural areas of Uttarakhand by providing basic education, vocational training, training for self-employment, mensuration health, legal aid, protection for women and self-awareness programs.
The Indian Rural Development Society aims to ensure the Earth's ability to nurture life in all its diversity and works on aspects like understanding the internal relationship of various natural resources, assessment of resource requirements and planning of resource management. We also help the government obtain relevant information for promoting and facilitating major environmental program implementation. We have to work continuously on several programs on environmental protection, eco-conservation, sanitation waste disposal and training because it's the next big problem that arises in front of all of us.
